It was a bright and sunny April morning when Randy woke up with a big smile on his face. Today was Randy’s 18th birthday. He wasn’t going to let anything ruin his big day. Randy got dressed and walked down the hallway from his room to see a big breakfast waiting for him on the table, it was his favorite; eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast with raspberry jelly.
After breakfast he went to take a shower and get ready for his party. He put on a pair of shorts and his favorite t-shirt ad made he looked nice for his birthday. Around 1 o’clock the first to arrive was his grandparents followed by his aunt and uncle and the rest of his family. Everyone went outside for a barbeque to celebrate Randy’s birthday. After everyone ate they all sat around while Randy opened his presents. He got some clothes from his grandparents, a watch from his uncle and some videos and stuff for his car from his parents.
When randy was done opening present they had cake and ice cream. Everyone then hung out at Randy’s house for the rest of the night. At about 7:30 everyone started to leave and when everyone was finally gone Randy decided to go to the store and buy a lottery ticket. This was something that Randy said he was going to do the second he turned 18.
Later the next day Randy went on the computer to check the numbers and see if he may have won the lottery, which he knew, was nearly impossible so he didn’t have his hopes up. He looked at the computer and read the numbers; 4, 16, 7, 29, 55. Then he read his ticket’s numbers; 4, 16, 7, 29, 55. He took a second look at the computer then at the ticket he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, he had just won the lottery, he had 3.2 million dollars coming his way. Randy realized he was set for life. Like he said, nothing was going to ruin his birthday.
